However EQ2 tends to have one the most linear MMORPG grinds present. Whether players wish to go out and kill monsters or stay in cities and develop they’re trade skills it becomes highly WOW Gold. EQ2 seems to do justice towards the end though but the linearity, repetitive quests and lack of competition causes it to tip into the negative. Sony being it seems to have not taken EQ2 server issues and the average gamer into account. The game being fairly choppy seems to have been shipped out a bit before its time. The cities seem to suffer from lag issues and crashes. For a game that leans heavily on cooperation this seems unacceptable.
Sony seems to have managed to cover up most of its issues in EQ2 releasing many fixes and expansion packs along the way. Thanks to the expansion packs they have managed to cover up most of the issues. Even though EQ2 boasts innovative content at the end from the day it’s the same old everquest with a makeover.
